    Is it possible to a) increase patrol sizes per cities or in general. Like bigger ones in military and kavala. And while missions are epic fun to snipe/ blast… is it possible to add convoy types. Like a few armed off roads escorting a hemmit with loot from a to b.

    I just had a quick look and it appears that I can increase patrols and roaming AI pretty easily. The spawn locations are based on location groups of either city, capital city, wilderness or remote area. Currently capital city is set to minimum 2 AI max 3 with a spawn chance of 70%. I could increase to say min 5 max 10 80%, how does that sound to start off with? I will just need to monitor performance and get feedback from players before increasing further as I’m not sure of the impact.

    There is also a separate convoy script I can add, I just haven’t ventured into any other additional scripts as I wanted to iron out a few bugs and make the server a bit more stable which I think it is now. Also if you are interested in scripting your own zone (like in A2 DayZ) with a base and AI etc. let me know as there is a small guide someone wrote and I’m happy to add what you create on to the server, same goes for anyone else.

    Maybe make convoy the most rewarding as a solo player will Ave much difficulty. And teams will be required?

    Don’t quite get you? Do you mean make it hard so you would need a team to take it? Therefore rewards would be big?

    I been modifying the A3EAI script to increase the number of roaming AI, which works well, and they spawn where a player is located

    AI now increased in major cities and convoy script added. Let me know how it goes and if it needs any adjustments.

    so how customizable are the convoys. I mean EASY CASH in a tank as they pose no threat with the lack of anti armour. Able to swap offroads to hunter gmg and maybe a rare chance of a marshall or other apc? Maybe a few launchers?
    Loot inside Hemmitts is low rate at what i have seen so far.

    I thought I had already commented on Convoy script, but didn’t press submit, I found a couple of glitches so far:
    1. AI are spawning without their vehicles;
    2. Some AI just stand their and not actively try to kill you (the player when on foot); and
    3. In one instance a convoy vehicle did a back flip in the air leaving the AI near it buried upright in the road (still alive).

    There is a lot of loot on the bodies in anti personnel mines worth 500 each.
    You can only sell certain items to the traders, but not vehicles and some weapons.
    This is just some feedback to help develop a good enhancement to the game.

    I tinkered with the script for a while last night. I changed the vehicles to be ones that can be sold at traders and added the hunter gmg and hmg for mid to high difficulty convoys. All weapons and gear should be sellable too. I also changed it for now so there is only one vehicle per convoy and there are 7 types but some with the same vehicles. The convoys have different difficulties, as you go up the better the vehicle becomes such as whether it’s armoured with a weapon and how many AI there are (up to 8).

    I adjusted a few settings to try and fix the disappearing vehicles let me know if it still happens as I’ll have to try and move the spawning of the vehicle to be server side.

    In terms of making something rare its possible but too much coding and I don’t have a test system apart from live. I will just add those items to the harder convoys with more AI.

    The convoy gear still needs some work to add more interesting stuff.

    gmg vs tank makes you be more careful. server been dropping after restarts latley been the last 2….. is now 10:22 aest

    Is the vehicle disappearing issue fixed? Yea I noticed that last night and just now, again looks like provider issue, server status coming up as unknown. If it happens again tomorrow hit me up and I’ll log a job.

    Hi Carcus,
    I keep having issues not been able to log on due to a battleye kick, then being booted after playing for around 5 mins, normally when in a vehicle, which means the vehicle is unlocked and I respawn at the closest traders. It’s happened on 2 different computers so I don’t think it’s my configuration. This happens as well as the server crashes.
